Activity Registration
Role: UX Designer & Researcher
Client: The Active Network
While at The Active Network, I evaluated and redesigned the checkout flow for children’s activity registrations at community centers. The existing flow was long and complex due to decades of center-specific configurations. I identified key usability issues and streamlined the experience while preserving necessary configuration flexibility.
Heuristic Evaluation
I conducted a detailed heuristic evaluation of individual pages and the end-to-end workflow, identifying usability issues.
Pain Points
Next, I synthesized the heuristic findings into major user pain points.
Workflow Diagrams
Using findings from the heuristic evaluation and pain point analysis, I redesigned the workflow to resolve page-level issues and reduce overall complexity by eliminating redundancies and consolidating steps.
Wireframes
Finally, I created detailed wireframes for all pages that addressed the identified issues while delivering a more modern, intuitive, and delightful experience.
