Remote Physical Therapy
As a User Experience Researcher at Reflexion Health I helped launch VERA, an at-home physical therapy system. I tested the unboxing and setup experience for both a physical device and user interface.
User Testing Preparation
I prepared for the user testing by first defining the research goals and selecting the appropriate research methods. I recruited participants, administered screeners, and finalized preparation by writing the test guide, assembling a packing list, and assigning clear roles to teammates to ensure smooth sessions.
User Testing Observations & Recommendations
I conducted mock intake phone calls and in-home usability testing with older participants from the target patient group to understand how users would set up the system for surgery recovery. Participants completed a series of tasks, rated task difficulty, answered follow-up questions, and provided desirability feedback on the physical device. I synthesized the findings and shared key observations and recommendations with stakeholders.
