Online Education Research

Ergolution, an ergonomics consulting firm, posed the question of how to best teach safe lifting practices online. To answer this question, my research team at Cornell University conducted a study to test the effectiveness of two types of online learning. Participants were shown either a video clip or annotated slide show, and then tested on concepts taught. A re-test was completed one week later to check knowledge retention.
